Complicate Simply – Exhibition Accompanying the 58th Ljubljana Jazz Festival 

On 1 June at 12:00 you are invited to the opening of the Skopje Jazz Festival posters exhibition in the NLB Gallery Avla. 

The exhibition accompanying the 58th Ljubljana Jazz Festival which will be held by 29 September will be opened with tunes played by the band of the Conservatory of Music and Ballet. 

The cooperation between Ljubljana and Skopje jazz festivals transcends the domains of verbalisation. As Bogdan Benigar put it, a “charming middle-aged gentleman” was bringing uniquely designed publications to the jazz festival in Saalfelden, particularly between 1995 and 1997. This period can be referred to as the golden era of Slavimir Stojanović, who was awarded some of the most coveted awards for his »Skopje designs« and for a while the graphic identity of the Festival garnered more admiration than its programme. Thanks to him, the Skopje Jazz Festival boasts the best posters in the world in such events. We are proud to display them as part of the 58th Ljubljana Jazz Festival.
