The process of acquiring the CBS Bank Sarajevo by NLB Tuzlanska banka was completed at the General Meeting of Shareholders of the NLB Tuzlanska banka on 1 July 2006 on the premises of the NLB Tuzlanska banka. The bank's registered office is at Maršala Tita 34, 75000 Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The NLB Tuzlanska banka is a universal bank whose technical and personnel potential rose considerably after the acquisition. Its market share in terms of total assets is almost 6%, while its capital amounts to 53 million convertible marks or nearly EUR 27 million.
Through the acquisition the NLB Tuzlanska banka expanded its branch network and is now present in almost 40 locations all over the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its branch network extends from Sarajevo, the Central Bosnian and Zenica-Doboj Canton to the Herzegovina - Neretva Canton, and is growing in the Sarajevo Canton, Zenica, Travnik, Vitez, Goražd, Mostar and Čapljina. The bank plans to expand to the Una-Sana and Western Herzegovina Canton by 2008.
In addition to the NLB Tuzlanska banka, NLB Leasing Sarajevo, Prvi faktor Sarajevo and the NLB Razvojna banka Banja Luka are operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The latter holds a 24% market share in the Republic of Srpska in terms of total assets.
