We strive for environment-friendly operations and save natural resources.

Paper consumption

With the aim of reducing the consumption of paper, we introduced electronic statements of account and e-invoices as well as the service of on-line depositing and electronic banking with clients. Printing is provided through common multifunctional devices. Connections were provided in conference rooms for laptops so that the participants of the meetings do not need paper material.

Waste quantity

Already in 2011 we introduced the waste separation system in common areas of the Bank for a separate collection of waste paper, packaging, cartridges and other waste. One of the conditions for obtaining the EGO – European Green Office Certificate was monitoring the changes in the quantity and value of the volume of separately collected waste.

Energy saving

In the area of power consumption, we strive to introduce as many measures as possible to reduce consumption and economise.

Sanitary material and water consumption

In 2013, we started measuring the quantity and value of water consumption, which is consistent with the requirements under the EGO – European Green Office.

In the area of power consumption, we strive to introduce as many measures as possible to reduce consumption and economise. To streamline the heating and cooling of offices we installed window blinds and restricted heating and cooling of work premises. Expert services warned the employees that everyone can contribute to more rational use of energy. We realise that every degree of deviation from the recommended temperatures increases the carbon footprint and the costs of heating and cooling by 6%. Automatic turning off of computers over night ensures saving of energy. The average electric power consumption in kWh has been decreasing since 2010 due to various economising measures and fewer branch offices in the Bank's branch network.

Lease of electric cars

With the aim of protecting the environment and reducing the consumption of natural resources, we started using electric company cars for the first time in 2017.
