Sergeja Slapničar resigned from NLB Supervisory Board

17 March 2017

On Monday, 13 March, a member of NLB Supervisory Board, Sergeja Slapničar, informed the Supervisory Board and the CEO of NLB that she was resigning as a member of the Supervisory Board.

Her decision was guided by altered personal circumstances and adherence to NLB's corporate governance standards. On Monday, 13 March, the Supervisory Board of Abanka appointed her husband, Matevž Slapničar, as a new member of the Management Board.

The Supervisory Board agreed both with her resignation and proposal to have her function terminated before the end of the notice period, i.e. 20 March 2017.

At this opportunity, the Supervisory Board thanked her for high quality and engaged performance, contributing greatly to the transformation of the largest Slovenian bank during her term of office. With its 8 members, the NLB Supervisory Board remains fully functional.
