Accessibility Statement

NLB d.d. is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its digital services in line with the Act on the Accessibility of Products and Services for Persons with Disabilities (ZDPSI, Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 14/23), effective from 28 June 2025. This statement applies to the following digital channels:

1. Our Accessibility Efforts

We are committed to following the WCAG 2.2 Level AA guidelines and EN 301 549 standard, with the goal of making our digital experience perceivable, operable, understandable and robust – for all users, including those with various disabilities.

Accessibility is not a one-time project, but a continuous process integrated into all stages of planning, development and maintenance of our digital services.

2. Current Level of Compliance

As of the date of this statement, our digital solutions are mostly compliant with legal and standard requirements.

Websites www.nlb.si and www.nlbgroup.com

The website www.nlb.si is mostly compliant with ZDPSI and WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Exceptions are being addressed and will be resolved by the end of 2025.

Implemented adjustments include:

  • Predictable and keyboard-friendly navigation
  • Mobile-responsive layout (reflow support)
  • Adequate color contrast for better readability
  • Clear and structured text using appropriate font size
  • Support for various input methods (touch, drag, enlarged targets)
  • Accessible interactive elements with properly sized target areas
  • Semantic HTML structure with heading levels (H1–H6) and ARIA labels
  • Compatibility with screen readers (including most PDF files)
  • Form error identification and supportive messages
  • Visible and logical keyboard focus (with minor exceptions to be fixed)

Some non-critical limitations remain (e.g. missing ALT text, inaccessible dropdowns, suboptimal header hierarchy), but they do not significantly affect usability and will be addressed in future updates.

NLB Klik (online bank)

The new NLB Klik online bank, currently being rolled out to all users, is mostly compliant with WCAG 2.2 and ZDPSI.

Improvements include:

  • Keyboard navigation with visible and logical focus
  • Responsive design with no loss of information when zoomed
  • Adequate color contrast and language tags for screen readers
  • Simplified and clear text

Some limitations (e.g. missing ALT tags, color contrast issues, dropdowns and combo fields) will be addressed by the end of 2025.

NLB Klik (mobile bank)

The mobile app supports landscape mode, screen readers and basic accessibility features. Further improvements are planned by the end of 2025.

NLB Pay

The app already supports screen readers. Additional improvements such as better contrast, zoom support and horizontal orientation are planned.

NLB Trading

Trading is also available via alternative channels (phone, in person). The platform allows basic zoom functionality. A redesign is in progress to improve accessibility.

3. Limitations and Progressive Approach

Due to technical complexity and frequent updates, improvements are implemented gradually. This applies especially to:

  • Color contrast in older modules
  • Complex trading interfaces
  • Screen orientation for certain mobile features

Where changes are currently not technically feasible or would cause disproportionate burden, updates will be made in future upgrades.

4. Statement Preparation

This statement was prepared on 27 June 2025, based on self-assessment, and published on the same date.

5. Feedback and Assistance

If you would like to report an accessibility issue, give feedback, submit a comment or request assistance, you can do so via regular mail, email, or by phone.
