The whistleblowing system

We at NLB believe that responsible corporate governance is more than just respecting the laws, regulations, and standards. Transparency and integrity are important elements of our daily business.

The whistleblowing system is designed for all stakeholders who believe that an act has been committed which is damaging to the bank or its employees, and which could have serious consequences with respect to regulatory sanctions, criminal liability or the bank’s reputation. Such practices that harm both the bank, employees as well as our stakeholders. Therefore, we encourage reporting of any harmful business practices, which will be examined by competent units within the bank in accordance with internal rules and procedures. By doing so, everyone can help to ensure timely action and to prevent the occurrence of damage or at least alleviate it.

In case of suspected harmful behavior in NLB, the following reporting channels (including anonymously) are in place:
